In 2023, Raizes, a dedicated nonprofit organization, established LithiumValleyInfo.Org with the mission of actively engaging the Lithium Valley community. As a cornerstone of the region’s educational growth, we provide the latest news and address vital concerns to empower and uplift residents within this thriving technological hub.
Imperial Valley’s First Swing was established to promote equity, accessibility, and opportunities for student-athletes from all communities. It aims to support students from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their ethnicity or social status, to enable them to engage in golf. The program’s objective is to encourage participation in golf among diverse communities and create a more balanced representation of society.
Raizes actively participated in the Trusted Messenger program, a vital initiative that ensures under-resourced communities have access to critical information on topics such as Extreme Heat, COVID-19 vaccines, harm reduction, Save Our Water, and ITIN. The program achieves this through various impactful activities, including door-to-door canvassing, outreach at events, phone banking, training, workshops, and awareness campaigns on social media and ethnic media.
